CHRISTMAS PACKAGE 2012

CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS WITH US AT BIBURY COURT. OUR THREE NIGHT BREAK FROM MONDAY 24th DECEMBER TO THURSDAY 27th DECEMBER IS AN ALL-INCLUSIVE FESTIVE FEAST.

From the moment you arrive you will feel at home as you relax and enjoy a comforting cream tea. Served by the roaring log fire in the drawing room, it should be just the thing to get you into the festive spirit. After a three course dinner, there is midnight mass at St Mary’s church, a minute's stroll away if you wish to boost the congregation.

On Christmas Day you'll wake up to a full English country breakfast. Enjoy a walk around our wonderful grounds and the village, returning to a glass of champagne and canapés followed by a fantastic six course Christmas lunch.

In the afternoon, the television will be on in the Billiard Room for those who wish to watch the Queen’s speech, most probably accompanied by one of our world famous "vintage" cream teas. Rounding the day off, an evening buffet is available if you can manage it.

After breakfast on Boxing day you are invited to join in the tradition of the annual Bibury duck race on the River Coln - we supply the ducks. The winner receives a bottle of champagne. Your lunch plans are entirely up to you, though we will be open to non-residents so please book if you decide to stay in. We will arrange tickets and transport to the RSC at Stratford-upon-Avon to see one of their traditional Christmas plays, this year being "The Mouse and his Child" adapted by Tamsin Oglesby.

When you wake up in the morning, feast on another hearty (or light continental) breakfast before making your way home, or staying on.

Prices will be announced very soon, but do call to find out more....

NEW YEAR’S EVE PACKAGE 2012/3

Start 2013 with a full English breakfast and then stroll around the village of Bibury, once described by William Morris as ‘the most beautiful village in England’. For those who would rather relax, we have 6 acres of wonderful grounds to explore. In the evening there will be a delicious three course dinner. When you wake up in the morning enjoy another hearty breakfast before making your way home.
